HELLO

Our blog was born because we were sharing with ourselves what we liked and saw during the day. We live apart (an ocean away, one bunting away) so it was the only way to keep up, and be in touch. Now that we went public, the only thing that changed was the language, oh, and we don't curse at all here. Of course not!!

My life in numbers: I live in Amsterdam, but was born in Colombia 39 years ago, and haven't lived there for almost 20. In the past 10 years we've moved 7 times. I've been married for 13 years and we met in high school, but we were only friends back then. We have 2 amazing and beautiful boys.

i have lots of; scissors, all things related to paper, magazines, boxes and books.

i like to: crochet, embroider words, write letters, and look out from windows.

i dislike: swings, airplanes and people standing in front of elevator doors.

i like to eat: pandebonos, arepas, pancakes, and rice with scrambled eggs, but not all at the same time!

GIANNI (wearing purple, she loves purple!!)

I was born in Cali, Colombia. When I graduated high school I moved to New York to study Fine Arts in Pratt Institute. I live in Brooklyn now and I'm completing my master's in Studio Art at NYU Steinhardt. 

i have lots of: maps, paint brushes, sketch books, threads of all colors...necklaces and earrings...and shoes!

i like to: paint, sew on paper, travel, salsa dancing

i dislike: turbulence, lightning, loneliness

i like to eat: and eat and eat, bakeries are my favorite and pizza and sushi....

We love comments, especially nice ones. We love snail mail too. But this is faster, so feel free to leave comments, we usually reply to all of them. We don't get that many, maybe that is the reason why!!
